Twin snares a writhing circle of the San Marcos Rivers’ invasive Hydrilla within a confining block of Thistle, sequestered from the river’s bank. Both are invasive species, and while they challenge both the plants around them and the human intensions for the spaces they dominate, they are not threats to each other, but rather parallel allies in their efforts to survive.
